Numnah with reindeer hide on the underside!
Reindeer hide is considered the world’s best saddle pad, with outstanding properties! The fur strands on reindeer hide are air-filled, creating an insulating and phenomenal pressure-distributing effect. Wonderfully soft against the horse’s skin, it warms and protects the horse’s skin. It is moisture-repellent and prevents chafing, making reindeer hide particularly suitable for sensitive or thin-skinned horses, horses with difficult saddle positions, and horses lacking muscle tone.
This numnah features high-quality (AAA-grade) reindeer skin sewn into the saddle area on the underside, with a channel for the spine. The reindeer skin has undergone a
special tanning process for greater sweat resistance. The numnah is made of quilted cotton twill, with genuine suede trim at the wear points along the bottom edge of the flaps. Nylon straps are included to secure the numnah to the saddle.
Length: approx. 60 cm. Height of the covers: approx. 57 cm. The reindeer hide on the underside extends down approx. 28–34 cm on the sides. Color on top: brown.
Reindeer hide was named “Best in Test” in a saddle pad test conducted by three researchers at the Movement Science Group in Vienna. Read more here! Cleaning: Shake it off after your ride. Vacuum the hide occasionally—use a standard vacuum cleaner but set it to the lowest setting and work carefully from top to bottom. Do not machine wash. However, it can be hand-washed with specially formulated detergents.
Note: Avoid walking or standing on the hide to prevent the hair from breaking off.
